Answer for question 10,11, and 12

What do you mean by recreational use of marijuana?
Firstly, when you search recreational drug use on the internet, it says street drug which synonym is recreational drug .This in detail means a substance taken for non medical purposes. Recreational use may be permitted much like alcohol or tobacco. But unlike alcohol or tobacco, which have defined limits under federal law and state law, marijuana intoxication symptoms are not as clear, nor is the drug testing as accurate, since THC can stay in a person’s system for weeks. Some companies have already legalized marijuana in their workplace so as to focus on their work. It will be a nice relaxation for them. Some marijuana can get you high. There are some types in marijuana too. This means that there are some that won't get you high at all. The problem of marijuana is that people use it for self-medication without professions advise. This will lead you to harm due to the lack of knowledge.

Why do you need a license to make a marijuana business?
To get started with a marijuana business, you need to have these conditions.I would like to take Colorado for example. The main requirement for owning any (medical or recreational) marijuana business is you need to be a current resident of the state of Colorado and have been living there for at least 2 years prior to applying for a license. In any states that legalize marijuana requires licence to own or start a business.

Can smoking marijuana while pregnant harm an unborn baby?
I searched about this question on the baby center questionnaire sites and found out that most of the people who smoke marijuana when they are pregnant say that it would not hurt their babies. This is said from their experiences. However, this is not true in matter of the fact.It is actually affected by any amount of marijuana taken by the pregnant woman, placing it at a greater risk of complications occurring. Also, secondhand marijuana smoke may result in illness or altered consciousness in infants and young children. Mothers using marijuana to treat medical conditions, like chronic pain, should stop using while they are pregnant until more information about the potential harms is available.

  1. I'm impressed by how many sources you used to find the answers to these questions. It would be better, however, if you more clearly differentiated your opinions from those expressed by experts in the sources you consulted. For example, when you wrote "The problem of marijuana is that people use it for self-medication without professions' advice" which may lead to "harm due to the lack of knowledge," I wasn't sure whose opinion this was--yours or someone else's.

In class, I mentioned to Luke that I found an article on the election campaign of an actress, Saya Takagi, who supports the legalization of marijuana and hemp in Japan. It's quite an interesting article, especially because she frames the issue as one that may help Japan be more ecologically and bodily healthy. Find the article at: http://metropolisjapan.com/saya-takagis-fight-for-cannabis-legalization/ . It's interesting that marijuana did not become outlawed until after the war (1948) through the demands of the American occupying force. It was used for centuries in Japan as part of traditional medicine and for making ropes, clothing, etc.
